A jaunt to Södermalm or Söder as it is known here in Stockholm, a district south of the city. An island that is connected by several bridges to other districts, it is the bohemian part of Stockholm. Unlike the traditionally posh Östermalm, Söder offers more diversity, favoured by the more creative, hipster crowd. A variety of cafes and restaurants, Vegetarian and Asian included, interesting shops, handicrafts, many with an organic feel to them, supermarkets with organic produce, and second hand shops. There is a lot to discover in Söder. It offers a very different energy and vibe compared to the rest of Stockholm, a little more laid back and creative. While enjoying a healthy fresh juice from Pom & Flora I was chatting with a designer, a well known photographer and an arborist, moving on to Bengali Street Food for lunch and having the best coconut ice cream I have ever eaten, and ending at Cajsa Warg, a foodie’s delight specialising in high quality and organic local produce.

The blog and photos make me want to hop on a plane and come to Stockholm…
So much to discover in Stockholm!
After reading your blog regret not visiting this part of Stockholm last year. Will definitely not miss it on my next trip!
Have to come back!
