The Lyceum, Stockholm

Found this gem on Ems Designblogg, and had to share. A building that once belonged to the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm is converted into apartments by Oscar Properties. Styled differently, I am attracted to the use of warm colours, light and dark grey and the deep blue in the furniture and the Thonet chairs is more reminiscent of Ilse Crawford than the usual Swedish styling of mainly white with black accents. I love the light wooden floors, and there is still that lightness that is Scandinavian. A very elegant space. The high ceilings and big windows make this a very attractive space.
