Country Living in Amagansett N.Y.

The country house in Amagansett of former model and stylist Tiina Laakonen and her husband Jon Rosen is a light, airy and minimalistic space. Buying a derelict mid 20th Century house in an area surrounded by large working farms, they rebuilt what looks like two large barns with weathered clapboard facades, connected by a contemporary building with steel and glass walkways. Laakonen’s Finnish touch is seen in the interiors, with Finnish textiles and furniture and the grey on the floors that are typical of Finnish country houses.
