House of Dagmar AW16

Stockholm Fashion Week is in full swing and the House of Dagmar had their Autumn/Winter 2016 collection unveiled yesterday. Soft sensual fabrics, brushed mohair, leather, turtle necks, pencil skirts and their signature knits. Elegant yet edgy, a look that Swedish designers do so well.

I asked Kristina Tjäder, designer and Creative Director and one of the 3 sisters behind the label, her inspiration for the collection.

What is the inspiration for this collection?
The inspiration is from the film Twin Peaks, a small rainy mountain town just near the Canadian border in the US with some every unusual inhabitants and where subversive undertones becomes the norm.

Why Twin Peaks?
I have always loved Twin Peaks since it came out in 1990 and love the mysterious undertones and fascinating people in the film.

Here are some of my favourites from the collection..
